KEEP PRAYING

You must keep praying about your needs, especially whenever you face difficulties; and learn to believe God for a miracle, no matter the situation.

CONTINUE IN PRAYER

To keep praying is to continue praying daily.

Psalms 141:2

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. 

Praying always, especially in times of trouble, forms a part of your covenant obedience to God, and it makes Him continue to do His part in your life.

Acts 16:25

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

The Lord expects a sacrifice of praise from you at all times, but especially at the close of day.

Hence, the fact that Paul and Silas prayed at midnight did not rule out their praying by day. The midnight prayer only served as a continuation of their daily worship. 

Also, to receive answers to prayers, there must be accord among brethren.

The time of trouble should not leave you with discouragement or cause you to pick quarrels with your brethren. Instead, you should corporately call upon the Lord, just as Paul and Silas did.

HEALTHY OR SICK,  KEEP PRAYING

James 5:15

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him, and if he has

committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

CONSTANT PRAYER MULTIPLIES  DIVINE GRACE 

You need the grace of God to: 

1. shine to the glory of God
   
2. manifest the Glory of God in your generation.
   
3. be who God created you to be.
   
4. Live a fulfilled life
   
5. Stay strong in the Lord
   
6. Trust and Obey
   
7.  Pursue your Divine Vision
   

Psalms 4:1 

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me and hear my prayer. 

Man has to pray to God to enjoy the abundant life in Christ. If you will pray, He will answer, and put a smile on your face. Therefore, failure to pray is to forfeit the benefits of prayer and leave things to chance. 

Nehemiah 1:6 

Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned. 

It is one thing for the ear of the Lord to be attentive and His eyes open to answer prayers; while it is another for you to keep praying to Him.

Confession of sins is the beginning of good things in the life of a man because it paves the way for entrance into the presence and glory of God. Sin leads to a sad ending but repentance leads to the joy of forgiveness and eternal bliss. 

Thus, the Lord wants to put a smile on your face, fill your heart with joy and put an end to every captivity in your life and family.

Nehemiah 1:11 

O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.

From the above passage, repenting of your sins and continuing in prayer clarifies that you desire to fear the name of the Lord and prosper.

And, I pray that you will continue to prosper as you repent and remain prayerful.

Nehemiah 4:9 

Nevertheless, we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.

To keep praying means to watch and pray by day and night. Learning from the examples of those who conquered through fervent prayers would energize you to pray more. 

Acts 12:5 Peter, therefore, was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Is anyone in trouble around you, continue to pray for him? And God will answer you and bring peace to every situation, as He did in the case of Peter. 

Are There Stubborn Problems? Keep Praying 

E.g., pray against:

1. Ungodliness in the nations.
   
2. The presence of the anti-Christ in the world
   
3. Youth restiveness
   
4. Bad government
   
5. Evil and unrighteous decrees
   
6. Individual and collective captivity of the citizens
   
7. All forms of human trafficking: child, sex, drug, women, etc.
   
8. The wickedness of the wicked
   
9. The reign of darkness
   
10.  Satanic impoverishment of nations.
