Hence, today, we have: Daily Delight Brethren, to delight in the word of God daily, calls for persistence on your part, as there are so many distractions out there that make it difficult or impossible. Thus, you need to continue in your efforts to always obey the Lord.
Today’s Bible Verse
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 1:20-21 KJV) That means loving God, by obeying and pleasing Him, is your number 1 profession. And then, every thing else will follow. These next verses say it all:
BE PERSISTENT ABOUT SEEKING HEAVEN

PERSIST IN YOUR GOOD DEEDS
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/gal.6.9.KJV Here’s the Oxford dictionary meaning of persist: continue in an opinion or course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. It is so easy to get discouraged and minimize your act of kindness when people only want to get from you without caring about your needs. And it becomes even worse especially when your beneficiaries fail to appreciate your efforts. That is why you must always hide the word of God in your heart for quick reference so you can know what to do per time.
PERSISTENTLY DO ALL THINGS AS UNTO THE LORD

ALWAYS SPEAK WITH GRACE
“Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” Colossians 4:6 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/col.4.6.KJV All children of God are soul winners. Hence, they cannot afford to speak or answer people carelessly. Also, you can, by your careful and gracious manner win those sinners and careless believers around you to Christ.
